That’s right I’ve finally released a beta of the eagerly anticipated by none php directory viewer application; Also known as GlassFolder. GlassFolder provides a clean professional way to share a web directory with the public (or a select group).
Is it one of a kind… No. But it looks better than most php directory viewers.
Is it powerful… No. If you need a full file manager I suggest CKFinder or MCFileManager. GlassFolder has some nice features but is primarily a way to quickly present a specific web folder to the public, and look good doing it.
Does it work… Maybe. Right now only a beta is available. Once I get some feedback I’ll have a better idea what needs changed/fixed before a stable release can be published.
It’s still under development and may destroy your server, but check it out anyway. Especially if you’re using shared hosting!
